Panthers notched four runs in the fifth inning. Panthers offense in the inning was led by Ruiz, Shelby Bundy, Nicole Archambeau, and Parris Hurt, all driving in runs in the frame.
Ruiz was the winning pitcher for Panthers. She lasted seven innings, allowing 12 hits and seven runs while striking out five and walking zero.
Beeker took the loss for Bowling Green. She went six innings, allowing eight runs on ten hits, striking out four and walking one.
