Maumee Panthers Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over Springfield on Thursday. The game was tied at three with Maumee Panthers Varsity batting in the top of the fifth when Cameron Hahn singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Springfield fired up the offense in the first inning. Springfield scored one run when T Todorowski doubled.

Matt Dalton earned the win for Maumee Panthers Varsity in a huge relief appearance. He allowed zero hits and one run over three innings, striking out five and walking one sealing the game for the Panthers.
