Maumee Panthers Varsity got things started in the first inning when Hunter Duby singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Matt Butler was the winning pitcher for Maumee Panthers Varsity. He surrendered three runs on nine hits over six innings, striking out three and walking one. Austin Pauken threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Pauken recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Maumee Panthers Varsity.
