Maumee came out and took the fight to Anthony Wayne, controlling the tempo throughout the game. Maumee jumped out to a 15-7 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Anthony Wayne made a late push, but never got any closer than eight points. The Panthers were led by Kyle Arndt, who poured in a game-high 17 points; Ayden McCarthy and Jayvon Hutchinson controlled the boards. McCarthy scored 6 points Hutchinson tossed in 7. Caden Brown controlled the Panther offense and chipped in 7 points, along with Mike Dembski’s 8 points off the bench. The win moves the Panthers to 3-0 on the season.
