The Panthers traveled to Sylvania Southview to open league play. Nine Panthers scored in this game. Maumee was led in scoring by Caelyn Crowley who scored 17 points coming off the bench to give the Panthers an offensive spark. The Panthers outscored the Cougars 30-18 through three quarters and played even in the fourth quarter to close out the game winning 39-28. With this victory the Panthers move to 2-0 and 1-0 in league play. The next game will be against Anthony Wayne.
