The Lady Panthers got 11th place at the district meet on Saturday in Ottawa. Five runners achieved personal or lifetime best times to make the last meet of the season a success. Once again, sophomore Sydney King led the Panthers placing 48 and running a career best time of 22:49. Next for the team, junior Abi Smalley placed 49 and running a season best time of 22:57. Next to cross the line was freshman Clair Farthing with a 23:11, making that a person best time. Sophie Schneider also scored for the squad running a PR of 23:39. Also scoring for the Maumee ladies was Camryn O’Shea running a 24:29. Senior Jordan Leaser ran a season best time of 24:43 and Keragan McConaughey ran a 25:41. With most runners returning in the fall, the lady Panthers will be ready to improve even for next season.
