Parents and student-athletes are required to attend at least one pre-season meeting prior to sports participation during the 2017-18 school year.  At the pre-season meeting, you will view the OHSAA’s presentation, discuss season expectations and eligibility requirements, learn about sports passes and participation fees, receive game/practice schedules, and meet with the coaching staff of your son/daughter’s sport(s), to name just a few.

The meeting dates are:

Wednesday, August 2nd, 7:00pm – Performing Arts Center

Who should attend: football, golf, girls tennis, cheerleading, dance team, cross country, soccer, volleyball

Wednesday, November 1st, 7:00pm – Performing Arts Center

Who should attend: wrestling, basketball, swimming, ice hockey, gymnastics, bowling

Tuesday, March 6th, 7:00pm – Performing Arts Center

Who should attend: baseball, softball, boys tennis, track and field

Parents and student-athletes must fill out the preseason packet and submit directly to their coach or the Athletic Department at MHS prior to the first official day of practice.  You may also choose to review the OHSAA’s annual guide to eligibility, which can be found here.  They may print the packet at home or obtain a copy from their coach or the high school athletic office during the summer.
